During my snowboarding trip at Levi Ski Resort in Finland, I was constantly surrounded by stunning views, but this particular scene made me stop in my tracks. As I took a break on the slopes, the sweeping panorama of snow-covered trees and endless wilderness unfolded beneath me. The thick blanket of snow coated every surface, transforming the trees into majestic frozen sculptures. The sky above glowed with the soft hues of the setting sun - peach, pink, and amber - slowly blending into the cold blues and whites of the landscape below. The calmness in the air was striking, with only the faint sound of wind sweeping across the hills. I pulled out my phone to capture this tranquil moment that felt so far removed from the adrenaline rush of snowboarding. It was a rare moment of stillness and serenity, a scene that reminded me of the incredible beauty of nature in its most untouched form. This photograph holds a special place for me, as it captures not only a stunning view but the feeling of complete immersion in the winter wonderland of Finnish Lapland. I didnt have my mirrorless camera out with me, so used my phone camera for this one, but it did the job. The best camera you have is the one you have with you!
